During the second quarter of 2023, the top sandbox-like games on the Android platform in Italy showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each game fared.

Roblox by Roblox Corporation saw consistent weekly revenue, peaking at around $106K in mid-April. Weekly downloads began at 20.8K in late March and climbed steadily to reach approximately 28.3K by the end of June. Active users also showed a positive trend, increasing from 1.71M to 1.88M over the quarter.

Melon Sandbox from playducky.com had a notable increase in revenue towards the end of the quarter, from $5 at the end of May to $27 by the end of June. Downloads for the game peaked at 20.9K in late April but generally trended downwards to 4.5K by the end of June. Weekly active users similarly saw an initial rise to 81.4K in early May before tapering off to 57.9K by the quarter's end.

Craftsman: Building Craft by StarGame12 had a steady performance with weekly downloads fluctuating between 5K and 9.7K. Active users saw a slight decline, starting at 122.8K in late March and ending at 111K by late June.

Block Crazy Robo World from Craft Trending Studio did not generate revenue but maintained a stable download rate. Weekly downloads ranged from 4.5K to 10.6K, while active users increased from 57.1K to 60.3K over the quarter.

Finally, Block Craft 3D: Building Game by Wildlife Studios showed a modest revenue growth, peaking at $121 in the last week of June. Downloads saw a gradual increase, ending at 8.1K in the same period. Active users also grew steadily from 68.9K to 77.7K.
